900 years ago Meister Eckhart said, "The eyes with which I see God, are the same eyes by which God sees me, they are the same."

In this quote we are reminded that the "goal" of eye deeksha is not just to "receive" a blessing, but it is to be transformed and to realize our divinity. May this be so to all of us!!!

My personal experience is that in the 2 years that I have been a deeksha giver, I have come to see God in many......all eyes.  The beggar outside Walgreens, the politician stumping for votes, the child reaching for her Mother.....all have the eyes of God. But wait, that must mean I have the eyes of God too!!!!!

As I look out into my world as God, I feel amazing love for the ones I see, and I also feel a kind of responsibility, not forced or co-dependent, but a healthy responsibility to recognize the suffering of others and be there to heal or encourage or support such a one if I can.

What is your experience of being divine and Hu-man ??

Wonderfully expressed Nathaniel!!!

Jesus spoke of a "pearl of great price", when one finds it, one would sell all that they had to get it. Who knew that the "pearl" was inside us all the time?

I feel most divine and most human when I go to pray and realize in my core that there is no-one "out there" to pray to..it always surprises me.
